Hi, my name is Matthew Stanton, and I’m the lead developer at JMC Gaming Enterprises!

You’re here today to help us playtest our new game, {TITLE-HERE}. While you play, I’ll be giving insightful developer commentary about how we created the game, and the challenges me and my team faced.

Now of course, this is a playtest, and there’s a high chance there will be bugs and glitches (especially with the tech department saying they want to test some device during the playtest). But worry not! As a professional game developer, I’ll be here to help you through any issues you may encounter.

Wait, this is weird, I’m getting some errors here… I wouldn’t worry too much about it, RETCON is a flawless engine after all. I’m sure it’s nothing serious.

Game Features

• Features a wide array of movement options. You can walk forwards, backwards, and strafe side to side; a new option available is the run button, allowing players to move faster than they would walking.
• If the room you find yourself in is too dark, the flashlight will come in handy, lighting up what you can’t see.
• The observant gamers will notice many buttons and switches, some even activate other moving parts in this ground-breaking gaming experience. Coupled with real funky beats found in radios throughout the levels, this will be a game to remember.

Beacon Pines is a cute and creepy adventure set within a mysterious book. You play as both the reader of the book and its main character, Luka.

Uncover The Truth:
Something strange is happening at the old warehouse, and Luka and his friends seem to be the only ones taking notice. Sneak out late, make new friends, uncover hidden truths, and collect words that will change the course of fate!

Rewrite Past Events By Using Charms:
While helping Luka investigate the strange goings-on in Beacon Pines, you’ll collect special golden charms, each with a word engraved on it. These charms can be used at certain turning points in the story to fill in a blank word and drastically change everything that follows.

Discover Different Story Paths:
As the book’s reader, you’ll navigate the story’s turning points using The Chronicle: an interactive story tree that branches and grows along with your choices. Exploring one set of events can unlock new charms to use on another branch, leading you to jump back and forth between entirely different versions of the story in order to unravel the mysteries at the heart of Beacon Pines.

Prodeus is a first-person shooter of old, re-imagined using modern rendering techniques and technology. Experience the quality you’d expect from a modern AAA game, designed with retro aesthetics and gameplay that invoke the tech-imposed limits of older hardware.

The game features a hand-crafted campaign from industry FPS veterans, co-op and competitive multiplayer play drawing on classic modes*, a fully integrated level editor, and a built-in community map browser for instantaneous action with nearly limitless levels to play.

After school, the classroom transforms into the world of “The Legend of Wright,” an RPG designed by young aspiring game maker Kenta.

As you make your way through the game, crafted by Kenta from drawings and cardboard and stationery, you’ll see that it’s so much more than “just” an RPG. Despite the name, RPG Time also features everything from action to adventure to bullet hell to turn-based battles! It’s a treasure chest stuffed full of fun, and there’s no telling what Kenta will pull out next.

A Fresh Weapon Switching Mechanic:
Each fashion crime has a fashion solution, and you’ll need to choose between your weapons carefully to fix each fashion faux pas! Each enemy needs something, be it a splash of color or all the seams taken in, so you’ll need to switch to and use the right weapons for the right situations! Picking the wrong weapon will do nothing to your enemies, so time to choose wisely!
